Valentina (spotted dove) and her babies - part 1

This year we have quite a few nests around the place. This one next to the carport is a bloody good spot where I usually park the bins which are now down the other end of the front porch.

 

.Just setup the Reject Shop $20 Wi-Fi camera on a microphone stand powered from a power bank. Bugger...missed the noon feeding session, what time do baby spotted doves have tea? To make shopping easier for mum I scatter bird seed, cracked maize and bread crumbs on the boot of my Camry Note: mum only shops for herself, the kids get mum's milk (pigeon milk).

Sprocket - who belongs to our younger daughter has just arrived to stay at Meadowbrook Mansion until next Sunday while his mum is off on a camping trip.

Scam telephone calls

We have a Panasonic phone system that does a good job of blocking unwanted callers.

However over the last few months the Panasonic base station has been busy announcing 'Call from private caller' and they seem to be increasing!
