Rough Collie on stand - part 4

With the first coat of stain on the stand and the doggie ready for the lights we can move over to the electronics/electrical workbench. For this job I've come up with a new hybrid lighting idea anf if it works out I will likely offer as a additional lighting option on Al's Workshop.

Holly had burrs in her paws!

Found burrs buried deep in Holly's back paws so yeah something to keep in mind and check.

Rough Collie on stand - part 3

After trimming off excess on the 8" band saw we are ready for a laborious session on the scroll saw. This will take over one hour and any mistake, one seniors moment and we will have to start all over again. I can't cross my fingers so the toes are crossed.

Router jig for freestanding night lights

From now on I'll cut a decorative corner edge on the base of the stand.
This stuff is tricky on small workpieces so we need to work out a procedure that can be replicated.

Here are the basic parts for the stand type night light with the base at the bottom of the photo.

Nice wooden stool from Salvos

The stool was falling apart with a price tag of $5 bucks - grab that. All it needed was a Allen key to tighten the furniture bolts...

Another new toy for kitties.
