NOAH batman light - part 10

This is the first time I'm lighting up a silhouette object with this sort of peculiar shape - we need to do a mock-up. Afternoon sun flooding in through the back windows of the workshop and with four skylights above it's bloody bright in here but I'm itching to see the results.



Blocked off some of the light with a piece of cardboard across the workbench, it's looking pretty good.

Screwed down the back panel and sprayed the back of the actual batman light.

Three screws either end will do the job.

Continued on with developing the back panel.

I fashioned six spacer blocks and secured with hot glue.

Garden pond - New Years tidy up

The pot plant container box that I made a few years ago that sits up top at the back of the pond needs fixing. The plants that were in there are being replaced with ones that I've been tending to on the BBQ table under the gazebo.

Carried on with the back panel idea and cut one out from thin MDF.

With the batman sign painted we are ready for the lighting part of the job. Thing is this silhouette object is very different from my usual night lights, how do I lay out the LED strip and mount the battery pack?

Just having a first time play with the RGB LED strip lights.

Hot weather has delayed the job so still have to cut out the name and spray matt black, the I can start the lighting.
