From the last post with the chicken done and put aside opened a bag of frozen straight cut chips and tossed into the basket about half the bag. Temp 120° for 20mins and off we go again.

The chips cooked nicely just right on the inside and crispy outside

Steamer glass cover is lost ?

Somehow during the Mackenzie clan Christmas festivities the glass cover for our steamer went missing. A pity…that's been with us for like 40 years.

Happy to report we were able to get a perfect replacement from a 'saucepan lady' at the market today - for $10 bucks.

Entertainment - watching movies

Finding it harder to stay awake and these days even rewinding doesn't seem to work. Set a new record tonight and feel asleep before the movie even started !
