I was really peeved a few years ago to hear that as part of the NBN agreement Telstra would not be able to use its HFC cable network to deliver (BigPond) Internet services - only Foxtel.

Really…I don’t want ANOTHER cable coming in when I am very happy with what we have considering Telstra offered and sent out a free DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem! Hopefully we stay as we are and DOCSIS 3.1 is just a firmware thing – happy with that.

After the successful dog sitting trial earlier in the week we now have Sprocket for the next few days while him mum is off on a short holiday. After the initial arrival excitement they seem to have settled down.

We have Sprocket with us for the day in Meadow Mansion. His mum will be back tonight for tea, this is a trial run for when we have to look after him next weekend.

Piano movers

The piano is being moved to the older kids new home, it’s been sitting in a corner of the rumpus room for many years. Looks like she will take it up again and has even organized a tutor who lives a few doors down.
