While I was backed up into the loading bay quite an audience had gathered waiting for their turn, the last and largest item to go in was the bed head and as I walked up to the boot they all started shaking their heads but it slipped into the boot and disappeared and I gently closed the boot lid – back seat was left at home.

Double bed purchase
Spent the last few days searching for a double bed for one of the spare bedrooms. Criteria is straight forward - simple double bed base in white and...cheap! Started off at Fantastic Furniture where they had exactly what we wanted for $149 but no stock, only the display one for $99. Drove around town and ended up back where we started and bought the display one for $99. Store guy (same as last time) was really helpful and I gave him a hand to bubble wrapped the important bits.

Centrelink Android app
This is a screenshot of the Express Plus Seniors app that I installed on my Galaxy Note. The app is very functional and you can preform most of the common tasks and even view online letters in a PDF style format – pretty good.

Samsung Galaxy desktop software
Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000: my older kid has a new iPhone 5s so she gave me her Galaxy Note – thanks!

Installed the Samsung Kies desktop software this morning and connected the phone to setup everything. Kies recognised that the Nokia Suite was installed and offered to import from a backup which I had – cool. Not used to using a finger to control a mobile device, fortunately the Note comes with a stylus.
