Vehicle upgrade

We are upgrading ET’s 1997 Lancer GLXi to a 2006 model.

MY06 Lancer ES with the 2.4lt MIVEC engine.

Roof repairs

Back around Christmas I did some roof maintenance, the ridge cap tiles (in particular) were letting water in and badly needed re-pointing. So off to Bunnings to purchase a bucket of Selleys Point Works Gen II and then up on the roof on a cooler day with the bucket of pointing mix, small trowel and knee pads etc.

No need to be to fussy up here it’s a two story house, so I put on plenty. This stuff is good, great bonding and very strong – like granite. I still need to do the corners but before this the Dutch gables need my attention.

This is the north end, nowhere near as bad but still needs to be replaced.

The weather boards need to be cleaned up and painted as well.

I am tempted to pressure wash the tiles but something tells me to just leave them alone. As I said it’s a two story house and you can’t really see much of the roof from ground level.

Pets - ew item to smell

ET went to have lunch with her friend and was given an unwanted pet basket.

When she arrived home and tossed it on the floor the was immediately a sniffing frenzy.

We arrived home after tending to the horses and a bit of shopping and discovered not one but TWO crime scenes.
